Hello! Here is another version of the stool I did for the class. Here I have it woven in Danish Cord but in a different style. This weave is very simple: the warp is just wrapped around the frame, and then the weave follows a checkerboard pattern. It is double sided, and you can do a different pattern on the bottom if you like. I think that those of you who haven taken this class could easily figure out this weave! The KEY is to leave a little space when you are setting the warp, don't pack the cord onto your rail. Let me know if you give it a try!

Hello, I would love to try this fabric, I just have doubts about how to start it. Should I nail the cord? Or is there another way to lock it?

Hi Heide. If you are wrapping your warps around the both rails instead of just one (like you do in the course which secures the start), how do you secure the start of your warp? Do you nail it down to the inside or is there some technique you use?
