Hello Inés, the first thing I want to do is congratulate you for having come this far and also for the way you have done it: involving yourself to the fullest, doing all the exercises, practicing and participating in the forum... I also wanted to thank you for the love you have shown by the course and that I have seen reflected in each of your contributions both here and on social networks. It has been a real pleasure to have you as a student!
It is very nice to read your project, to know the reason for choosing each element, to see that the use of a color or a specific type of light is not a free decision but has a whole meaning behind it. That is the way! For still life photography to transcend and connect with the viewer, it needs that level of care that you have given to your photography.
I see the next step in editing. I see the photo as very correct in that sense, but perhaps seeing the type of photo that you included in the moodboard or the capture of atmospheres that you are interested in achieving (old libraries for example) I would try to try new things: more dramatic lights, games of light and shadows , give color to the lights... I don't know, begin to reconcile and have fun with the edition until you find a formula that you like and fits. In the end, it's going to be a trial/error job but I encourage you to go for it.
