Terrazzo Home Accessories project in Creative Product Photography

I make and sell my own terrazzo home accessories, Hey Kiddo Co, (the stationery trays, photo frames and photo stands pictured) and I've been looking for a way to improve my product photography skills to help convey how my products actually look and feel as well as their true colours.

While I am still establishing my brand voice, I know I like grids and isometric designs, something I was already capturing in my amateur photography and the products I design.

Due to the types of products I make, they often become an ancillary product within the image and I think the product focus is lost - what am I trying to sell in each of these images?

I watched the course a second time after taking these photos and I've made notes on each piece as to what areas I think I could have improved on.

    Love this!! Especially love the notes on what you can improve on - being able to self-critique is so important! These images are so great - love the grids and how fun and playful they are!! It could also be fun to see more images that are focused on just one product - like the last shot!
