your work is absolutely stunning. Are you going to offer a course on here in the future? (If you are already offering, I can't find it and would appreciate a link.)
Bye! and thanks for your words. My Domestika course will be out soon, but I can't tell you when yet.
The course will explain some basic techniques of gold embroidery, with which to create the first works embroidered in gold, using easily available materials.
You will surely find the course on my page as soon as it is available;)
hi Elena I followed your course on Domestika fantastic, can you embroider an already sewn jacket? and how could I do since I can't use the frame?. thank you so much Christine ❤️
@p_cristin Hello! I'm glad you enjoyed the course!
about the embroidery on the jacket already made, and therefore I assume lined, you could try to unstitch the lining and place the part to be embroidered on the frame stretched with a cotton canvas. This will form the "firm" base of the embroidery, so you can embroider as easily as you did for the heart. Clearly it is a little more complicated and there is the risk that the embroidery "pulls" and creates folds on the fabric of the jacket, once detached, if not perfectly placed.
This is why I would advise you to opt for an application... or first try it on an old jacket, to better understand how to work and if the final result is satisfactory.
I hope I've been useful ;)
