Hi!!
The truth is that I have tried everything: ArtRage, Paper, Sketchbook, Brushes ..... but I remain, by a landslide, with procreate. If you have not tried them ....... I recommend it !!!!!
Awesome. How long does it take you to do something like that? Can you enlarge the image both to give definition to the detail?
Do you work with a photo below?
Maybe I'm asking too much but I have tried something similar and it is very difficult. Congratulations
Hello LuAngPri!
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a comment!
Some paintings take me almost 100 hours of work. In this case there have been about 40.
When I work, I greatly enlarge the image; I work practically with pixels. In highly detailed areas I paint almost pixel by pixel.
I hardly ever see the whole painting when I work on it, only a small fraction of it.
To give you an idea, it's like painting a picture on a wall, while you're working on it ... you don't see it whole.
I do not use any photo below (At the magnification level that I use, I would only see pixels and ... that is very distracting !!!). Some of my paintings are based on photos, but I never put them behind, always outside the painting (where they do not disturb!).
Sometimes I put the photo on my phone so I can see it while I paint. (and the mobile next to the Ipad ...... and the ipad on a lectern .... and the lectern on a reclining table ...... come on, I get a "set" of noses when I paint !!).
I hope I helped you!
