After bringing us Needle Felting: Creation of Characters with Needle and Thread, Caro Indy is back, this time to teach you how to dress your creations in miniature clothing made by hand or with a sewing machine.

Caro teaches you how to design patterns and sew the miniature clothing for your little creations, whether they are felt dolls like the ones in her first course, or any other type of miniature figure you want to dress up.

Anyone who is currently working on a doll project and wants to give their creations a special twist, as well as sewing and craft enthusiasts of all ages.
Requirements and materials
There's no need to have any sewing knowledge, since Caro teaches you her process from scratch.
As for materials, you need sewing needles, threads in different colors, pins, scissors (for paper, fabric, and cutting threads), a heat erasable pen or tailor's chalk to mark the fabric, manila paper or cardstock, tracing or carbon paper, an iron, measuring tape, a ruler, and different types of fabrics or scraps (you can even reuse clothes that you no longer wear). Some projects require knit fabrics that stretch, while others require flat or stiff fabrics.
A sewing machine would also be ideal, although it is not essential.

As a child, Carolina Alles, better known as Caro Indy, used to make clothes for her dolls. Nowadays she still does, but has made a career out of it.
She is a fiber artist specialized in needle felting, a technique that allows her to sculpt her own characters from scratch using fabric. But what makes her work even more special is the way she manages to give her characters their own personality, incorporating them into all kinds of projects in other disciplines, from children's stories to a child's favorite toy.
