Talisa May is an embroidery artist based in London who specializes in goldwork embroidery, bead embroidery, and needle painting. She has always been passionate about crafts, creating her first stitched piece at just five years old and selling bracelets and keyrings to her neighbors. Talisa later discovered cross stitch as a creative outlet after losing her father and practiced it for almost 10 years before experimenting with needle painting. She then began posting her work on Instagram and, after her fiance bought her a goldwork kit for Christmas, found her creative style.

The lessons are well explained. The technique may seem complicated at first but ultimately the clear explanations and demonstrations make it quite easy to get there. The list of supplies is only available in English. This can slow down the purchase of equipment a little.
