Luiza Potiens is a textile artist from the interior of São Paulo, Brazil. Graduated in photography, she worked in the fashion market and saw her images published around the world. At some point, he decided to change the medium of his compositions: from photography, he moved to manual work. Over time, Luiza created her own brand and textile laboratory, Ateliê Mentha. In it, the artist experiments with macramé, weaving, punch needle and embroidery.
Luiza sells her works online, at events and at various points of sale throughout Brazil. She also makes custom orders for clients and architects. Her pieces have been shown in media such as Casa Vogue, Casa e Jardim, Trip, Urdume and the Arte 1 channel. For Luiza, sustainability and experimentation are essential and working with your hands is a powerful tool for mental health.
