Visual Identity Design for Spaces
“Thank you for taking this visual identity course which is coming to an end soon. Now it's up to you. You will develop a complete visual universe and detail certain elements in your graphic charter. If you started a project by following the exercises, finish it, but you can also start a new one. In any case, take care to document the different stages of your creation and add a brief explanation of what you did in each of them as well as your choices. First, realize the visual identity of the place and/or brand you are working with.
You will then create the graphic charter from the visual elements created. For this, you will work on InDesign, where you will define the summary, a framework and a sober and effective layout that allows you to highlight the sections and the contents. Establish the summary as detailed as possible. The first part of the charter must contain the main principles . You have to be clear and directive: the charter is aimed at the uninitiated, everything must be easy to use. The second part presents the deployments . We must concentrate on the essentials and produce specific files for printing. Take care of your inks, cut lines, bleed edges, etc. You will finally have to prepare the deliverables , edit them, collect them, and make them accessible to as many people as possible. Compress all the files in .ZIP format (including the chart itself). And There you go ! Present your project to us on the forum by clicking on “Create your project”. We will be happy to follow your progress on the forum and give you our opinion, as soon as possible, in order to carry out this project. Feel free to suggest color or typography options on the forum, comment on others' work, and interact with the community. This will help you progress! See you soon !”Partial transcription of the video
