Carolina Pérez Bustos is an embroidery artist who graduated from the Escuela de Artes y Oficios Santo Domingo in Bogotá, Colombia. Her embroidery journey began in 2010 with Manos que bordan. It was then that she started to form a connection with textures and the reality of communicating through needlework. She is specialized in flat stitches and woven stitches, as well as beadwork.
She has had the opportunity to work with various haute couture designers and designers of children's toys. She also teaches embroidery at various independent establishments to people from all over the globe.
