Interesting course!

I have trouble understanding this course. For one thing, the examples given mean nothing to me because I don't know the characters. And the example from her own life is so different that I can't relate to it. Secondly, the German subtitles in this course are so bad (e.g. they constantly switch between him and her although it is about the same thing) that they confuse me.
