“Adding the Mirror and the Backing Final Project In this lesson, we'll take the final step of adding a mirror and a backing so you can hang your finished mirror frame. You will have your beautiful, finished and varnished frame. It may have come ready with a mirror and a backing. Mine didn't, so I'm going to show you a way to make the backing. I had a piece of acrylic mirror and a backing board cut to size that fits within the back of the frame. I'm also going to use a cotton tape and a staple gun to hang it.
