We mostly can use any kind of material to create the molds, of course, that's depending on the resin and on how big the mold is. If you're just working with a small object, I recommend silicone, it's one of my favorites, or just wood, wood is very simple to cut and you can create your box to pour in the resin. If you are copying an object, just use silicone. Otherwise, you can use glass or Plexiglas. Our choice of the material depends on which kind of surface we like at the end.
