“Wash for shading In this lesson we'll apply shading to the drawing to get forward more depth and shadow to it. At this stage when I've removed all the pencil lines and I'm happy with the inking, I always make a scan to have both of a safety net if something goes wrong with shading or color, and also you don't know what might happen in the future, you might get asked to do a coloring book, for example, and that's great to have as good a scan as possible of this black and white piece.
