On September 26, 2014, in Iguala, Mexico, the municipal police disappeared 43 students from the Isidro Burgos Rural Normal School. That same night he murdered 3 more students. Since then, all 43 remain missing. The government has not been able to come up with a clear explanation of what happened, and not only that, but many data suggest that the army was involved in the disappearance, or at least had information that it did not want to reveal. A month after the disapprovals, I started a small initiative among Mexican illustrators, inviting them to draw up a portrait of each of the 43 missing students and share it on social media. Now there are more than 400 portraits gathered in a tumblr, among which there are even illustrators from Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Spain. The project continues and, if everything goes as I think, this same year we will publish the book that will bring together all the portraits and some texts that were made from September 26. All the profits generated by the sale of the publication will be donated to the Isidro Burgos Normal School.
