My project for course: Sketchbook Exercises for Artistic Growth

I genuinely loved this course. It is jam packed with pieces of useful advice for artistic growth. It helped me to loosen up and gave me the tools for creative play. I absolutely loved drawing with my non-dominant hand and filling in the space with a wax crayon and then drawing on top of it. For the final illustration I drew my daughter baking cookies. I made a light gouache wash and then added the details with colored pencils and neopastels. I had absolutely no plan whatsoever, however creating textures in one of the exercises helped me to understand what I like most. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out and I’m definitely going to experiment more. Thanks to Sarah.
