The illustration of Mr. Onion is intriguing, with its tears and open eyes, along with the open eyes that float throughout the composition. In the final work, there is a nice blend of textures and materials, in what appears as digital art and magazine-type images collaged into it, as well contrasting textures, plus graphic design elements. Thank you for sharing your original sketchbook drawing, as it shows the evolution of your ideas - how Mr. Onion in the final no longer has roots, and how his setting, too, has changed. It looks like you experimented a lot with ideas and techniques. Experimenting with materials and ideas, drawing and re-drawing and editing is part of what helps all of us artists grow. Thank you for posting.
@garybaseman hello teacher, how are you?
It's an honor to receive your comment.
I used some techniques that mr. has been showing during the course! I found this sad base that connect your ancestors with art super interesting.
and I could understand a little about how to find a essence within an authorial art!
about my hand drawing and the final project! couldn't reproduce mr's body. onion, I think I was a little afraid to draw! For an upcoming project, I'm going to dedicate myself a little more and create a dark Mayan image and effects! lol
one day I'll get there! 🙌
thanks again for the feedback teacher i loved your answer!
@kelly_de_meyer look, to tell you the truth, it was just an experiment, I didn't have time to work with it anymore, because my professional life is demanding a lot of work and I haven't been able to continue with new projects, but I'll do some more soon 😎

I like the roughness of the initial sketch with the contrast to the endresult. Nice to see both. Are you still experimenting more?
