Hi Javier, congratulations. The model looks very good and I think that both the format and the treatment of the black density and the presence of the text contribute to generating the appropriate atmosphere for the project.
Beyond saying that it seems to me that I could be ready to make an edition, I would like to give you some comments that are based more on a subjective question but that I think it is valid to share.
I think the cover idea is interesting in formal terms, but maybe it reveals too much and I think you could try a couple more options. Perhaps a single typeface and another with an alternative image.
Especially because the first image with which you start the series (the hand stamped on the body) is much more interesting and mysterious, and I think that having the cover with the torso of the body and the tattoos, removes the possibility of that image taking the power it could have if you start more slowly in the sequence. Let's think about how we would do it in a movie.
On the other hand, texts work fine in the size and font you have chosen, but I would be careful to separate more image from text. You can see that there is a subtle treatment in the gradation of the light towards black, but perhaps that could be adjusted a little more so that it does not feel like some text is floating on an image.
Awesome. I worked on the streets for many years, here in Germany. Not even in a big city. But I immediately recognized what it was about. I have already seen many photographic implementations and did not think that there was anything else that could come up that would convey the topic. You can do it from within. So, so to speak, what is in the dark for most. Often for a long time for the people themselves. Most of them come from outside, through things related to drugs. The thin paper underlines the fragility. Great. It takes courage to take your face out. It would be distracting because we tend to read our faces. But even with a face I can imagine it succeeded.
I can't read the texts, but they are there like a block. I would still work on that. The font is wrong, and neither is the setting. And if you put them on the side of the photos, I find them too powerful. Little, if any, text should go there. The rest on their own.
JM Basquiat somehow occurs to me. Great job
Greetings Sabine
@musukn thank you very much professor musuk, sorry for the delay in the answer, the observation of the cover seems correct, precisely in the lesson of the covers topic I did several tests and I opted for a photo, I did not like the typography very much, I will continue Exploring in that part, the texts has been something that gave me trouble at first but little by little I have found their best point, in the same way I will continue distributing and exploring, thank you very much teacher, excellent course and I will continue to monitor any news !!!
@haifischfrauen10 , Thank you for your answer, I don't speak German but I recognized the language and translated it in Google, I hope that I have been able to understand your words correctly and thank you for that, they are very gratifying words, your suggestions are correct, it is something that I have been working little little by little and that in each new model, I adjust the texts and it is a task that I have to do together with a professional in it, because it is a challenge to include the stories as they tell them, but the stories take on a lot of relevance in the project, in the same way, believe me that I will take into account your ideas as the photobook evolves.

But congratulations on the project.
Cheers!
