Pasta with Red Sauce

"Pasta with Red Sauce" is one installation in my ongoing personal project "Cooking with Wool". Back in 2019, when I was having trouble getting my career off the ground, I decided to turn more of my attention to personal projects. Up until then I had focused all of my attention on client projects for local businesses. These projects felt very personal, because I spent so much time and creative energy on them. But in reality they weren't personal projects, because they were made to sell someone else's product. I had a realization that in order to build a bigger audience beyond my home town, I would need to focus on the art I wanted to make and embrace social media.

The success of this project catapulted my career and landed me my first gigs working with large brands. I have made many more of these cooking videos
