This project was born from being curious about how graphite would affect my style and practice. I really like how graphite helps me explore a more 3D quality in my work, and I feel like I have more freedom in erasing or starting over than I would when working with ink.

PlusIncredible work. I love how everything flows together, and yet how various parts of a form may show up in surprising places. You seamlessly combine humans, animals, buildings, plant life. And it all has a softness because of the graphite that seems more “lifelike” than hard lines of ink would.
