Daydream Weaving

This weaving was a personal project that I created during the first year of the pandemic. When everything came to a standstill, and our future was uncertain. The only way that I knew how to process my feelings was at the loom. I worked on this project bit by bit over a period of months. I used a combination of techniques, as well as a wide array of beautiful yarns to complete the colourful area. At the time that I made this, it was the biggest weaving I have ever made, and it was a wonderful personal challenge. It still hangs in our living room!
