Morpho Butterfly

This butterfly is one of my favourite pieces. The Morpho butterfly has a stunning blue colour so I wanted to replicate this but also add my own twist with the beads and metallic threads.

The piece is mostly needlepainted which took a lot of hours to do before I could add the beads. The butterfly is outlined with pearl pull to give it a defining shape and then finished off with metallic bugle beads.
