My project for course: Dynamic Animal Illustration for Children’s Stories

Thank you Julie for such an interesting course. It really pushed me to think about anatomy. I have lots more to learn but it improved how I look at form so that when I create a cartoon style character, it’s still within the realm of being realistic.

My birds wing, for example, was backwards. I found it helpful to walk away for a day and come back and look at it was fresh eyes. The course didn’t require colour, but I wanted to add some to see what a finished product would look like.
