BIRTH CONTROL IS NO LUXURY

Available since the sixties, covered by health insurance since the seventies, the Dutch Government decided in 2011 that birth control is too costly: If they want it, women can pay for it themselves.

But birth control is not a luxury. It is a fundamental reproductive right and it should be available to everyone. That is why Bureau Clara Wichmann and DeGoedeZaak have sued the Dutch Government, along with 7.228 citizens as co-plaintiffs. I am proud to be one of them and even more proud that they are using my work for their campaign!
