Cap

As a productdesigner and a basketry enthusiast I have been developing a specific weaving technique that uses computational techniques and is based on sheet materials instead of strands. Besides creating new possibilities in shape, material and construction, it makes basketry less labour intensive.
The caps are digitally cut out and then handwoven from paper-leather, an interesting material that looks like paper but is very durable, waterrisistant and even washable.
