Green Circle

The Concept: Green Circle is thought as a big lung to be seated in a city core, our society has been being totally disconnecte from our origind, the nature. Green Circle is trying to recover the axioms of each of us.

I followed most of the steps that Diogo is teaching in this course, in fact I tried to use pure shapes like circles; it is true that it was said that we should only use two regular forms but in my case I decided to use it more times

The chosen location was a city square, knowing that there is an international temporary architecture competition in Logroño, an excuse was used to propose the entire development of the exercise.

The project is completely removable, trying to filter the light through a lattice generated from laser-cut wooden planks. In addition, it must be incorporated into a circular economy process in which all the materials used are reused for future assembly, reducing the generation of waste to the maximum.

The interior of the Green Circle is understood as a place of disconnection from the city and a return to the primeval natural state, a place where the filtered light and the atmosphere of the little birds makes you achieve a serenity in yourself that reduces stress and generates peace and harmony

I would say that this course is very useful because Diogo manages to compress all his experience in a few videos, highlighting the importance he gives to pure forms.
Sometimes, both in projects and in life, people try to make very complex designs, with a lot of embellishment, and this ends up distorting the true idea of ​​the project. Dios Aguiar has reminded me of the importance of simplicity and how it is not necessary to make a complicated design to make a better project.
