I took a slightly different route and experimented with charcoal for this assignment.
One of the most intriguing aspects of using charcoal was its unpredictability. Unlike the controlled precision of carbon pencils, charcoal has a mind of its own. It smudges and blends in unexpected ways, leading to happy accidents and spontaneous creativity. I found myself embracing imperfections and letting go of the need for everything to be perfectly precise.
Overall, I'm incredibly proud of the pieces I've created. And to my fellow creators, never underestimate the power of adaptation and experimentation – sometimes, the best masterpieces arise from the most unexpected beginnings.
Keep creating, keep innovating, and above all, keep dreaming in shades of charcoal!
With gratitude,
Ramesh Ravone
