My project for course: Professional Children's Book Illustration with Procreate

I wanted to draw a variety of characters, so I chose the story "Hansel and Gretel". After reading the story, I divide the story up and created a rough draft of the pages.

Next, I started designing the characters and created a character sheet.

After finalizing the characters, I started working on the page illustrations. Below is a GIF that shows some of my process.

I really enjoyed this course and I learned a lot about page layout and character consistency.
