My project for course: Intro to Portrait Sketching: Draw in Real-Time

In order to embrace Mr. Robles' marvellous style (which is much like where I felt I always wanted to go!) I first drew his marvellous(!) picture of Christina, albeit not as good, of course. Also, I have very few copic markers and my blender (which I never even used) seems to have dried out 🤪. In addition I lack that beautiful citron yellow, which is surprisingly perfect for the background. Will try to stock up (did!). Next, I'll try drawing something from my own life, though probably from a photo, first. Then real life. Very nervous about it!
Edit: Drawing from my own photo I got too insecure and didn't leave enough free space or focus on a main area (as in create a vignette) - hope that will come with experience and practice - still turned out much better than I had managed to draw this way before, so thank you so very much, Mr. Robles! Scan colors (especially Reds/skin color) were horrible, though, so I took a (slightly warped) photo
