My illlustration concept was about a haunted guest room and an oblivious guest sleeping through the commotion thanks to her trusty Sleepytime Tea. The cat isn’t so lucky.
I really had a lot of fun with this course, learned a ton, and will continue using that color palette technique in all of my digital work.
As I was working through this project I got excited about making the little bits of the haunted room come to life but on my first few takes it was too much all at once. I ended up using a ton of empty frames to try and space out some of the movements…but I’m still not sure it’s all as cohesive as it could be. In my next animation project I’m going to find a way to incorporate motion paths and work on some more subtle motion details.
I originally took this course hoping it would help me transition a little more seamlessly between photoshop and illustrator files and my illustration work on the iPad. After using Procreate for a couple of years I have to say this class really sold me on how powerful Fresco is. I learned so much from this course and am definitely a Fresco convert now.
Thank you Kyle and all the people that worked on this course!
