The New Yorker Cover, September 2022

This cover for the Fall Style issue of The New Yorker magazine was created based on a sketch I did about a year ago. The New Yorker asked to make changes to the perspective, angle, and the characters. The main idea is to poke gentle fun at the young teenage wannabe Instagram influencers who flock to specific 'Instagrammable' space in New York City - Dumbo, in this case. The whole image is, in a sense, a capsule of the Gen Z style in 2022.
