Tell Tale Custom Piece

This project was an exciting challenge to design and the client, the LA based lingerie company Tell Tale, was as thrilled with the result as I was. The client had a very specific vision: they wanted a macramé curtain that spelled out the name of their company and they wanted it to be legible forward and backward! They also wanted the curtain to be interactive so that guests at their launch party could walk through it.

Using thousands of feet of 5mm cotton rope suspended from a metal dowel, my team and I carefully knotted the logo using Black 5mm rope onto the Natural hanging rope using vertical double half hitches. The finished project created an optical illusion embellished with brass beads for party goers to pose with, touch and glide through.
