My project in Lighting Principles for Digital Painting course - A Bradipo piace

I got inspired by this really useful course.
I've always had problems with colour and light, I've never understood well how to treat with light and to play with it until I found this course.
I rewatched the sections lot of times and the parts about the sunny day inspired me a lot for creating my own "sunnny" character in order to portray him in different sunny scenarios.
In this way I tried to play with natural light, following the steps cleared in this course.
I made the sketches of my "Bradipo" character and then started to paint.
My aim was to create and evoke positive, sunny, summer and spring vibes.
Here are the first sketches and the final coloured illustration.
I hope to add new scenarios with different seasons and light conditions as soon as possible.
